Verification of Study Periods for German Pension Insurance

You can download a verification of study periods at TUM for the German Pension Insurance (DRV) from your TUMonline account under the “Documents” tab.

Your TUMonline account remains active as an alumni account after graduation, you can log in using your TUM or MyTUM e-mail address. If you encounter problems, please contact it-supportspam prevention@tum.de.

If you no longer have a TUMonline account or never had one, you can submit a written request for the certificate. Please send an email to studiumspam prevention@tum.de with the subject line “Certificate for the Pension Insurance” and include the following information:

• Your current first and last name

• If applicable, the name you used during your studies (birth name or former last name)

• Date of birth

• Student ID number (if known)

• Degree program

• Start and end dates of your studies

• Your current address (if you would like to receive the document by post) or your current email address
